A number of behaviors can be targeted through ABA treatment in the Social, Life and Learning Skills areas.  These include play and leisure, functional communication, social communication, adaptive behavior/self-help skills, attending skills, imitation skills, safety at home and in the community, independence regarding activities of daily living, community inclusion, and maladaptive behaviors such as tantrums, protesting, self-injurious behaviors, elopement, disruptive behaviors, etc.
