What is an FBA?
A Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) is designed to obtain information about the purpose (also known as function) a behavior serves for a person in their natural environment. FBA’s are used to identify the type/source of reinforcement that maintains a challenging behavior and then uses this information to create a Behavior Support Plan (BSP).
